Do I need an account? No. Closet AI has no sign-in and is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
Where are my photos stored? In private storage on your phone. When you choose AI analysis, the selected photo and relevant styling information pass through our Cloudflare API to OpenAI.
What are credits? Some AI features use credits. Daily free credits and optional rewarded ads top up the balance, subject to limits. Credits have no cash value.
How do I delete local data? Profile → Settings → Clear All Data removes your wardrobe, photos, saved results, pending reports and personal preferences. Age confirmation, onboarding status, display choices and credit limits remain. Uninstalling removes the app's private storage.
An AI result was wrong or offensive. Use Report on the result. Failed submissions remain available for retry or deletion in Settings. Accepted reports are kept in the developer's private inbox for up to 30 days. For earlier deletion, email us with the report identifier.
Weather is wrong. Check the city and country in Settings. The app does not use GPS.
I changed phones. Android cloud backup includes wardrobe metadata and preferences. Photos transfer only during direct device-to-device transfer.
